Enchanting is quite different in our system and is separated into four parts parts: armor enchantments, weapon enchantments, enchanted staffs and scrolls. The term that we used for enchanting a weapon for the first time is Enchantment Placing. For example, an enchanter will place an enchantment on an unenchanted weapon or armor.
Each level of enchantment can be placed through a type of soul gem:
Novice - petty soul gem
Apprentice - lesser soul gem
Adept - common soul gem
Expert - greater soul gem
Master - grand soul gem
Black Soul Gems are unique in that they can be used in place of any soul gem if used by an enchanter up to their enchantment level. Please keep in mind that Black Soul Gems are extremely rare and can only be obtained through a pact with the Ideal Masters or from a Necromancer who has a pact with the Ideal Masters.
Armor Enchantments
Anyone can have enchantments on their Armor. Armor enchantments do not need to be recharged, but can only activate once per turn in combat. This use of equipment enchantments is a FREE ACTION. You enchant the armor as a whole and not by pieces, which means that you get only ONE enchantment for your armor. The only exception is that at expert level, enchanters can place TWO enchantmenst on armor and armor only. All enchanters have access to ALL enchantments, but are restricted by level.

Enchanted Staffs
Enchanted Staffs are a unique and versatile resource in the Cmpany. You may only have ONE staff with you per event and each staff has a base charge of 3 which can be extended through different things. An enchanter at master level can increase the charge of the staffs they use by 1, bringing it up to 4 base for themselves and themselves only. Enchanters can inscribe a spell into a staff. That spell can be any spell from any school, but it takes time.
Staff construction requires several parts: wood, metal and inscriptions. Each spell school is associated with a a special type of wood. You CANNOT inscribe a Mysticism spell onto the wood of a Destruction staff. Woodworkers at adept level and above can craft the wood of the staff.
Wood Types
The second part to staff construction is metal. An adept level and above smith can infuse the wood with metal to give it unique properties. Each metal has a different effect and some metals are FAR harder to get than others. You may want to ask the smith how rare the metal you want is.
Metal Types
Staffs can be recharged using soul gems based on the level of spell that is engraved upon the staff. Soul gems take up an equipment slot, so keep that in mind. It also takes 1 week for every part of the staff creation process, coming out to be a total of 3 weeks! You can choose to get multiple people to work on a single staff. If that is the case, just remember that each part takes 1 week to complete. If you have a blacksmith, woodworker and enchanter, it will only take 1 week! Work with others to complete the staves quicker!
Scrolls
Scrolls are another unique facet of enchanting! The enchanter does not need to know the enchantment nor the spell to transcribe a spell onto a scroll. It takes an enchanter time to learn the spell to place it without learning said spell. To use a scroll, it is a FREE ACTION and gets consumed when used.
