'Fish' (aka 'Riding Fish')
Apprentice Necromantic Creation
Fish is a reanimated horse, a very obvious zombie from the clearly visible bones and flesh of the corpse. It is equipped with what one would expect of a regular horse mount, including a pair of large saddlebags. There have been no major changes to the corpse itself, rendering Fish closer to a long-lasting basic undead. It is capable of performing the basic roles of a mount, carrying Rotting Luck (and Furry Fish in a saddlebag) wherever they need to go.
Attributes:
Health: 8
Stamina: 4
Magicka: --
Damage: 3 Physical (hoof kick, bite)
'Fish' (aka 'Furry Fish')
Novice Animal Companion
Fish is a mottled grey and black skeever that accompanies Rotting Luck just about everywhere she goes. It is a favored pet and companion, and Rotting Luck loves Fish dearly. Fish is capable of all the things a regular skeever is, in addition to more or less following Rotting Luck's simple cues.
Attributes:
Health: 4
Stamina: 2
Magicka: 2
Damage: 1 Physical (bite, scratch)
Other Companions:
Rotting Luck has a pair of Daedra that she can conjure. They are the same as the ones found in the conjuration summons guide. They are only mentioned here as their names are also Fish. Rotting Luck really likes fish. She has a Daedrat named Fish (Summon Fish)
She has a Fiendroth named Fish (Scuttle Fish)
Publia's Pals
A list of her companions and creations
Relevant skills:
Necromancy - Adept
Handle Animal - Apprentice
Animal Companions:
Cassian
A handsome turkey vulture raised from an egg; Cassian is nearly ever-present with Publia. He helps her as a necromancer assistant and a rather dour looking 'familiar' for her nature magic. Given that Publia also favors the form of a turkey vulture, one can assume that Cassian considers her family or more.
Otherwise, he does as one may expect of a turkey vulture - flight, uses scent and sight to find corpses, and eats rotting flesh. While he generally avoids combat, if someone provokes him enough, he may vomit on/at them.
Apprentice Companion
Health: 5
Stamina: 5
Magicka: 2
Damage: 3 physical (projectile vomit)
Otis VII
The latest in a long line of opossums named Otis, Otis VII is a fat and well-fed one just like all his predecessors. He lives at Publia's home and keeps the yard free of nuisance pests, just doing what opossums do. He is hand-tame though and tends to behave like a rather bizarre yet pampered housecat, demanding attention of Publia and any guests she may have.
Otis VII has a prehensile tail that helps him grip branches and other items, and a mouth full of sharp teeth used for eating bugs and whatever other small creatures he can find. He is a capable climber as well. Despite is general good nature, he will scream at and bite those that annoy him too much.
Novice Companion
Health: 4
Stamina: 3
Magicka: 1
Damage: 1 physical (bite)
Necromantic Creations:
Lucian
The broken, the afflicted, the tossed aside, and forgotten can all be remade with bright purpose.
An emaciated wolf once culled, its deep grey fur patchy around the crusty scars of mange. A glittering white gem has been sewn into where the hunter's arrow found its mark, and ram's horns have been grafted to the canine's head. Quills edge its ruff, like a mane of spines.
Lucian comes with Publia into situations too dangerous to risk her living companions. Built to be balanced, the creation can serve as a sturdy yet agile bodyguard rather than a simple meat shield.
Adept Creation
Health: 8
Stamina: 8
Magicka: --
Damage: 5 physical (bite/headbutt attack)
Brutus
Redemption and justice come in many forms, some as terrifying as they are beautiful. Beware, for every rose has thorns.
Created from the corpse of a would-be murderer, Publia has used the skeleton to help weaponize a thorny rosebush. Nestled within the pelvic area of the corpse is the base and root of the plant, which has been fortified into a rough sort of planter. Careful growth and pruning have ensured the creation is well-studded with sharp thorns and beautiful green foliage. When the season is right, bloody red roses bloom all over the body, hiding further the animate bone beneath. Most of the time the body is not visible unless the creation is ambulatory. In the off-season when the bush is dormant, the skull serves as a bird-feeder, the eye sockets and cranial cavity having been adjusted to hold seeds.
While not exactly a combat companion, Brutus has been designed to be a mobile form of 'aggressive vegetation' often used to deter would-be criminals from easy access points of homes and businesses. The creation is often at home outside one of the ground floor windows, though Publia makes sure to have it take walks and choose other resting sites to ensure the health of the plant. In a pinch (or a prickle) it is ready to defend with slam attacks and crushing fleshy foes against its thorns.
Apprentice Creation
Health: 8
Stamina: 4
Magicka: --
Damage: 3 physical (bash/slam/thornstab)
Perennia
Life and death work together.
A fairly simplistic creation based upon the skeleton of a large goose. This creation serves as a glorified plant pot. Within its body cavity/ribcage a planter has been woven, and within grows some carnivorous bug-eating plants.
A fine creation for muggy-and-buggy evenings on the patio to reduce the number of pests bothering the living. Thanks to its mobile nature, it can be directed to the ideal places for its bloodthirsty vegetation to thrive, or to simply follow a gardener around and assist with weeding. Perennia is not very useful as a combat companion, but as a limited-purpose utility creation, it serves well.
Novice Creation
Health: 6
Stamina: 2
Magicka: --
Damage: 1 physical (pinchy goose bite)
Mjöll
[apprentice]
Health: 4 Stamina: 8 Magicka: 0
A dire wolf whose pack left him behind when he ran off as a puppy. He was found by Tynnera outside the Riften town gates, and she's taken care of him for the past seven years. He acts more like a dog than a wolf, but more recently has adapted to more wolflike tendencies. His fur is stained with stripes on his cheeks, shoulders and flanks to differentiate him from other wolves. He loves to play fetch and tug, and has his own saddle and tack as he serves as Ty's mount.
