Height: 1.72 meters (5 feet 8 inches)
Physical Description:
Long red hair that is naturally straight. Her golden skin is silky smooth and cared for using the best products that gold can buy. She is the very embodiment of the standards of beauty that Azura herself teaches to her acolytes. She prides herself on her femininity and glories in her large assets and hourglass figure. She keeps herself fit and maintains a balanced diet to be an example of outer beauty. She also has striking golden eyes. She is covered in symbolic and traditional Ashlander tattoos that depict Indoril Nerevar, the last God King of the Chimer before they were cursed by Azura as well as the prophecy of the Nerevarine, the reincarnation of Indoril.
Personality:
The Chimer has a very motherly and warm glow about her, willing to accept all people that come to her with a pureness of heart. She is known to view those that love and respect her as her own children and take care of her family with everything she has. She loves giving mercy to the lost and misguided just in case that is what they need to reform and become better people. Those that abuse the kindness she freely gives unfortunately see the duality that she represents: underneath her warm and loving exterior is a spiteful, angry demon that will go to the ends of Nirn to seek revenge and personal justice. Those that do not accept her warmth or formality will see her rage and vengeance.
Childhood
Mala was born a dunmer to a traditional, Tribunal worshipping home. She was also blessed to be a part of a minor House, Cardruhn, who were within the Great House Indoril. Her early education prepared to inherit House Cardruhn, being the first born of the House patriarch. This only lasted until she was twelve. There was a dispute between House Redoran and House Indoril in which the leaders of both Great Houses placed the blame on Mala's House and revoked their status. Fortunately, they were given land where they built a farm.
Mala, being raised not as a farmer, but a noble, disliked the work she was forced to do. One day, she went exploring and followed two shady individuals into a tomb where they raised the dead. One of these strangers was killed by the undead while the other destroyed the raised dead and fled out of fear. The small dunmeri child grabbed the Necromantic spell tome from the dead body and started to study it in her own time. She was curious as to how the dead could be raised and why it looked so familiar to Ancestral Spirits that the leaders of the Great Houses communed with. Her father found the book and banished her from House Cardruhn. He thought it was a mercy since the Ordination would have killed her where she stood if it was discovered that she even had the tome.
At the age of twelve, she was thrown out and traveled West, through Skyrim and the mountains of Orsinium untile she made it to High Rock, where her life would be changed yet again.
Young Adulthood
When she arrived at the city of Northpoint, Mala was suffering from malnutrition, hypothermia, depression and fatigue, though her assets had developed since she was thrown out of her home. Two years it took for her to come to Northpoint only to beg for her daily bread and drink from the river about an hour away from the city.
One faithful night, a wealthy Breton laid eyes on the dunmer and saw the potential that she had. He introduced himself and tricked her into following him to a brothel in the city. In exchange for fresh clothes, a warm bed, running water and three meals a day, all she had to do was work for him. Not knowing what that entailed, she accepted and was treated very kindly for the first few days. On the third day, the Breton noble who owned the brothel brought an Orsimer into her room and forced himself on her. She lost many things that night, including her innocent view on the world. The first couple years were a living hell for her, but her mind had slowly degraded until she grew to enjoy the depraved acts. She would stay with the Breton noble and be experimented on by doctors, surgeons, alchemists and alterationists until her body was nothing like it once was. She was altered and changed to have the perfect figure and proportions to be easy on the eyes of both men and women. She also had the talent of singing. Many men and women from around Tamriel would visit the brothel and spend ludicrous amounts of gold to spend a night with Mala, who had taken on the alias of the Ruby of the East, the Gem of Morrowind.
Adulthood to the Present
After several years working in the brothel, Mala became pregnant with her first child. Due to the alterations and chemical substances she was forced to make, she had thought it impossible to bear children. Her outlook on life shifted yet again to hope and purity. She no longer worked for pleasure, but purpose. All of her extra earnings were hidden away in her room at the brothel so that she could leave the gods forsaken place when she gave birth. Unfortunately, she miscarried and her heart was broken yet again. Her depression rose from the depths of her heart, but this tragedy became another stepping stone in her life. She decided that the death of her daughter, whom she buried under a tree in a small park in Northpoint, was to be the catalyst of change. After recovering from the miscarriage, she took the gold she had saved and fled the brothel. She turned that gold she made into investments of small businesses. Some bloomed while others fell apart, but her earnings were always in the positive. She utilized her knowledge of nobility and how to present herself to expand her wealth until she got enough to return to Morrowind and reestablish House Cardruhn as a minor House in the province. She eventually found a group of people that held similar goals as her, which helped her expand her influence, wealth, power, and even gave her the option of Lycanthropy, which she took willingly to be married to a half-dunmer man and a bosmeri woman. Those friends and family she made helped her finally put the Cardruhn name to rest so she can create a new House, House Lalaith, meaning 'laughter' in the bosmeri tongue. She was even blessed with pregnancy again!
The good times did not last long. People discovered this group and wished for their destruction. The members of the group were hunted to near extinction and all Mala could do was hide those that she could find. Her husband and wife did not appear to make it from the massacre. Since then, she gave birth to her first living child, Merdekhes Lalaith, became a Merchant Lord in Hammerfell, gained a fort which she named Bastion of Dawn, and established the Red Wolf Company. Those that know her now realize that she is always looking to greater heights and she has schemes in place to help her realize her goal: a united Tamriel that is free of discrimination and hate. She recently went on a pilgrimage to a Shrine of Azura and the Daedric Prince herself came down and freed her of the Ash Curse, but gave her a task: destroy the Tribunal to avenge Indoril Nerevar, the last true King of Resdayn. With her goal in mind, she is trying to bring about the Nerevarine Prophecy which will ensure the destruction of the Tribunal and the restoration of the Dunmeri people's glory and honor.
Omen, Mala's Werewolf
Titles: Pack Leader, Alpha, Mother, The Red Wolf
Age: unknown
Height: 2.03 meters (6 feet, 8 inches)
Physical Description:
Omen is rather small for her kind, but what she lacks in muscle, she makes up for in intelligence. Her red fur is usually stained with the blood of her prey, be they animals or mortals. Her claws are as sharp as daedric weapons and would cut through steel as easily as butter. She also has a tough hid underneath the floof she calls fur. She also has slightly pronounced features given that she has given birth twice before with more likely on the way.
Personality:
Omen prides herself in her ability to stay calm and think through situations. Unlike most werewolves, she can stay her hand when she is called to Hunt. Underneath her cold, calculated exterior is a loving mama wolf who would do anything to protect her pack and children, even the ones that Mala had before the two were united by Hircine's Gift. Those who get to know her will recognize that she is just as motherly as Mala, if not more so, though she finds it difficult to love others do to being rejected by Mala's mates since the two became one. One might say that she is the warrior and her counterpart, Mala, is the princess; two halves of the same coin.
